Downs Presbytery Minister appointed to commence in 2026
The Joint Nominating Committee has appointed Rev Russell Reynoldson to the Presbytery Minister role for The Downs. Rev Reynoldson commences 15th January 2026‬. He has been in ministry some 45 years - 22 years as a youth worker and 25 years as an ordained minister. He has diverse ministry experience in rural and urban congregations in Queensland and New South Wales. There is much to do as the whole Synod reconsiders Presbytery Capacity during the next two years.

Chair of Pastoral Relations Committee (PRC)
Rev Tanya Richards has served as PRC Chair throughout 2025, and from mid-December is on holidays until her new role as Bush Chaplain for Bottle Tree commences in 2026. For all Pastoral Relations matters, please direct to Rev John Case, the Chair of Presbytery.

Office Closed 24th Dec-Friday 9th January [8am-2pm]. Then resuming Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays throughout 2026.
